Author's Greeting

Hello, dear reader. I am a man called Ink, and here you'll find news about readings I am going to attend/have attended, readings that I am going to give/have given, personal new discoveries in literature (poetry/fiction/etc.), and other poetry-related euphoria. Any poems reproduced in posts throughout this blog are for promotional purposes only (please don't sue); I fully endorse the purchasing/library borrowing of any mentioned/linked-to publications.

What makes me all that interesting?

If you are one of those wonderfully undervalued people who actually value others' opinions, I am yet another voice, another glance/take/perception, and, above all else, another person operating independently of you, good reader. This position, as opposed to being one of the voices residing within your own head, gives me the ability to read/think different (as well as similar) things and comment upon them. If you read my poetry and reviews, you can therefore get a feel (one way or another - positively/negatively/neutrally) for something you otherwise might not have encountered along your own path. My hopes for this blog is that you will discover authors and writings - my own and others' - that I have deemed worthwhile enough to bother writing up and commenting on myself in order to promote public attention/admiration and spread their readership, as well as their humanity and lessons and language.

Official Bio

Ink draws from his experiences in central New Jersey, where he can be found hugging perfect-bound and loose leaves alike as if they are not paper-cut-capable. Subject to the fickle whims of muses and his own whimsical talent , he writes because he has to and submits to journals infrequently because he’s lazy about postage…and mailing…and rejection. With a sense of humor as twisted as his word choice, Ink delights in putting readers into his signature, slightly askew, circa 1985 Reebok Hi-Tops and walking. His poems are as easy to read as they are to understand as they are to enjoy. Published in a few journals worldwide as Andrew Feindt, he has a disorganized website, a MySpace page, and four self-printed chapbooks for sale: "Drinking Coke & Smoke with Beer on the Table" (2000), "Tripped Tongues & Fallen Cases" (2003), "Inanimates" (2004), and "Words that Should Never Be Said (...to a Woman)" (2006).
